Travel Guide for Perfect Days in Malta by Marco Polo

Marco Polo is the go-to name for travel guides the world over, and now they've added a Malta focused spiral guide travel book into their collection. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one for a read through and today I'm going to go over some of the content you can expect in this Malta travel guide, whether it's useful and interesting and worth buying if you're planning a trip to Malta.

The spiral guide itself is exactly the kind of thing I love. I love books, notepads, jotters, binders and all things like that, so this thick spiral book with it's card cover, thick pages and perfectly categorised chapters is just so satisfying. I enjoy looking through it and in an age where everything is done online, it's so nice to go back to the days of physical travel guides, maps and letters.

The guide is perfectly named:

Perfect Days in Malta

The Perfect Days in Malta travel guide is split into categories or chapters;

  1. The Magazine
  2. Finding Your Feet
  3. Valletta, Sliema & St Julians
  4. The South
  5. Central Malta
  6. The North
  7. Gozo & Comino
  8. Walks and Tours

which I think are perfect segments and exactly the main points you need to read up on when planning a trip to Malta. Each chapter is colour coded and the pages are clearly marked so it's incredibly easy to flip immediately to the section you're looking for.

Top 10 Things to do in Malta

The opening pages detail their top 10 selected places to visit in Malta and I wont spoil the surprise (buy the book to find out!) but I'd definitely agree that they're 10 things you simply must try and see when visiting Malta. It includes places like the Grand Harbour, Marsaxlokk (which too many people don't fit into their trip) and more.
