Malta is such a tiny island that you are never far from the sea, whether it’s by a sandy beach, a flat rocky beach or a man made lido. St Julians is the main ‘hub’ of Malta with the highest concentration of bars, restaurants, jobs and hotels but many people think the sunbathing in St Julians is limited. To start with there is a man made sandy beach called St Georges Bay although it’s not somewhere I’d really recommend, as well as that there are numerous flat rock areas which are absolutely stunning.
Recently Joe and I headed on down to Giuseppe’s Lido, St Julians to catch some rays. I’m so glad that summer seems to finally be here and couldn’t wait to get a little colour in my cheeks. The lido isn’t quite ready yet so currently it’s free to use their sunbeds- make sure you make the most of this! I’m not sure when they’ll start charging, or how much it’ll be, but I really hope they clean up a little first. The toilets were woeful and there was a lot of rust and wear and tear around, but with a little bit of love and care I think this place could be great. The location is perfect and the view is sensational so we’ll definitely be spending a lot of time here whenever we feel like sunbathing in St Julians!
We had a lovely day sunbathing in St Julians at Giuseppe’s Lido though and I managed to film a little of the experience. I hope you like it, be sure to like, comment and subscribe to my channel for loads more fun videos coming soon.
