The Rolling Geeks is a tour of parts of the island in pimped up golf buggies and is amazing for people who want to see some parts of Malta they might not otherwise have come across, learn some history of the island, see quite a few things in one day and have a fun and interactive tour of the island with friends.
3 Cities Tour in Malta
The Rolling Geeks take you on a tour of the three cities and begins in Birgu/Vittoriosa. The tour includes a long list of sites in a relatively short time frame, including the Smart City, Malta film studios, The Grand Harbour Marina plus some forts, churches, stunning view points and more.
The golf buggies you'll ride on the Rolling Geeks tour are electric cars, featuring preprogrammed GPS routes so you can't get lost (and so the team can always find you if you do), two way communication with the office, plus an interactive tablet for checking out the island and taking pictures along the way.
Your car will explain each of the sites to you along the way, with information in English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Russian and Mandarin. The tour takes just two and a half hours and you'll see so much in that time, including lots of lesser known sites or otherwise hard to get to places.

The Rolling Geek tour is a tour that can be taken all year round. During the summer it's perfect when it's too hot to wander around the island and it's something to do in Malta when the weather is bad as the scenery can still be incredible and the car comes with Winter covers and disposable raincoats to keep you warm and dry.
Rolling Geeks Malta Tour Prices
The standard tour is 2.5 hours and currently costs €75 per car (when including 2 adults and 2 children per car) however you can have 4 adults instead with a supplement of €10 for the 3rd and 4th adults.
If you've done the standard tour before or prefer to take your own route, you and your friends can rent the cars to roll around the 3 cities and Kalkara for a reasonable hourly rate.
