If you’re in Malta right now then you’ll know that something is up. It’s windy, right?
A strong Mediterranean cyclone is expected to pass close to the Maltese Islands on Monday and Tuesday producing Gale Force 8 winds (gusting Force 9 to 10) from an easterly to eastnortheasterly direction, rough seas with waves up to 4 metres high, rain and possible thunderstorms!
Please, please be careful. Do not go out swimming until this has passed, the waves are too dangerous. Don’t go out if you don’t have to, the winds are ferocious and for little people like me, it’s physically challenging to be outside right now!
If you do have to go out, please take care when walking near trees or buildings or billboards- things will break and things will fall. Just take extra care whatever you are doing until this storm has passed.
