Christmas was delightful. We had Joe’s Nanny with us as she’s staying here right now, his step brother, wife and kids and our friend Chris over. Cooking for 8 people was harder than I anticipated, the yorkshires sank and I ran out of Bisto gravy (had plenty of home made though!) but all in all I think the food was a success and I had a great day!

Joe’s step brothers wife made us up a beautiful hamper as a Christmas present and to say thank you for helping them out with the move. It was the sweetest thing and full of yummy goodies and alcohol to enjoy!
Then as a surprise last week Joe’s parents, other Nan, brother and his girlfriend showed up in Malta! I was utterly speechless as we had no idea at all and it was such a nice shock! So rather than the quiet night in for New Year we went up to Bugibba and saw in the new year surrounded by family. I don’t want to post any pics from New Year as it was a family affair and not everyone wants their picture posted all over the internet so here is a video from New Year last year- we went to the same bar and they didn’t do the fireworks this year but hey! THIS IS NOT SAFE KIDS!
It has been an amazing festive period and the best way to send of an incredible year. Here’s to 2013 and all it has in store.
Oh fun!!!! It’s great to see family when you live so far away :)
