That time of year again- moving time! Currently looking for new places with Niki from Belair but not sure we’ve found ‘The One’ just yet. I love our current place and don’t really want to leave but we want to start seriously saving up so we’re going to downgrade to a cheaper apartment but we also want to be in a better area and Joe is a bit fussy about interior so it’s proving a bit difficult, but it’s fun looking around new places anyway.
We’ll be moving just before Christmas which is inconvenient but I’ve put up our tree anyway- even if I will have to dismantle it in about 10 days! It looks soo cute and festive and my head is constantly filled with Christmas music. I’m not religious but I love Christmas simply for the happiness and love it helps spread around. I like decorating the place with lights and pretty baubles and sparkle, buying gifts for people I love, things I know will make them smile and organising a huge family meal- it’s the feeling of the event that I love.

I’ve not been well recently. I’m a bit of a sickly one anyway but I seem to be having bad reactions to mosquito bites- the last one swelled up an area as big as my hand- fingers and all! I also had an allergic reaction recently, swollen eyes, swollen sausage fingers and a rash all over my legs and back with no idea what caused it. Then last week I started having weird episodes with heart palpitations, shaking, dizziness and nausea. In fact I am going to write a post soon about my utter disappointment with the Regent House Medical Centre in Sliema. But basically the episodes are like panic attacks but I’m not worried, or stressed or anxious about anything so I’m sure there must be a cause. I did go to the doctor on Saturday and she did a lot of tests on my sight, breathing, balance and stomach and believes I have a stomach virus which is causing the panic attacks. I’ve got some medication but we’ll see. I never realised how awful panic attacks were until I had one- it was terrifying!
So fingers crossed we find a place this week and can get a lease signed and hopefully I’ll soon be feeling a lot healthier!

Have fun house hunting!
